I rewatched it a couple times, as near as I can tell it was the diving act that must have convinced the ref Sessegnon pushed him out of the way?

Also, if you look closely, he twists his ankle pretty badly. Straight up And-1 style soccer from Sessegnon.
The ref definately thinks it was some sort of push though, cause he smiles and then moves away like he expects the portuguese guy to just get up and start playing right away.
