For those of you, like myself until very recently, who’d never heard of Pelada before, I submit to you the official trailer:
Pelada, which translates literally to “naked”, is a celebration of the kinds of pick up games that are happening all over the world that illustrate the real power of soccer. I’m not going to lie this is the movie I dreamed of making, and seeing that its been done, and likely much better than I could have ever conceived doing it, does make me a little sad. But I have the remedy, which is to see it next week when it opens at Cinemateque.
